Celebration of STEM with the Young Engineers and Science Clubs Scotland

The SCDI’s Young Engineers and Science Clubs Scotland (YESC) programme supports learners aged 3-18 and their teachers with a range of innovative STEM projects, developed with industry partners.

The annual STEM challenge gives Clubs a practical challenge to explore a topical theme and the national Celebration of STEM event at the end of term brings teams together from across Scotland to showcase their work to industry experts and take part in a range of challenges to meet those working in the STEM sector to learn about the exciting career opportunities available.

Erin Hunter was invited by the SCDI to judge the Primary Club of the year Award and the Little Engineers Award at the event held at Glasgow Science Centre on 31 May.

These awards were won by Clerkhill School in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire who won the Primary Club of the Year and the Little Engineers Award was won by Jimmy Dunnachie Family Learning Centre, Glasgow and Dalmarnock Primary, Glasgow.
