At Falck Renewables partnerships with the communities around our wind farms are at the heart of everything we do.

Our approach to business is based on a strong belief that all our wealth and jobs come from the land on which our projects are built and the people we share these sites with. Today we operate 12 different wind farms, most of them in Scotland, one in England, and one in Wales.

We have always believed that local people are the key to success – from running our community benefit funds and distributing financial support each year to many deserving causes to setting up local co-operatives so that communities can share in the profits from their local wind farm.

This exciting relationship has resulted in many examples of worthwhile and diverse projects carried out by local communities with the support of Falck Renewables.

We see real value in sharing the experiences of all the communities we work in partnership with and we hope that this website will provide communities with a virtual space to showcase best practice, learn from everyone’s experience, promote initiatives, spread news and communicate with each other.

In short, this website represents a community of communities: the Falck Renewables Sustainable Community.
