Next door neighbour to Earlsburn Wind Farm outside Stirling, Kingsburn has 9 turbines. Funding from the wind farm is shared between the neighbouring communities of Carron Valley, Fintry, Cambusbarron, Gargunnock, Kippen and Denny and District.
Kilbraur Wind Farm in Sutherland has 27 turbines. The funding from the wind farm is distributed by the Kilbraur Windfarm Community Benefit Trust to organisations and initiatives in and around the neighbouring communities of Rogart, Golspie and Brora.
Cefn Croes Wind Farm in North Wales has 39 turbines. Funding from the wind farm is distributed by the Cefn Croes Wind Farm Community Trust to organisations and initiatives in the immediate neighbouring communities of Blaenrheidol and Pontarfynach. Organisations in the wider Ceridigion County Council area are also eligible to apply to the Trust.
Near Strathaven in South Lanarkshire, Auchrobert Wind Farm has 12 wind turbines. Funding from the wind farm is shared between Blackwood and Kirkmuirhill Coordination Group, Boghead Community Group and Thornton Road Community Centre Association.
