Near Strathaven in South Lanarkshire, West Browncastle Wind Farm has 12 turbines. Funding goes to the South Lanarkshire Renewable Energy Fund which distributes it to organisations within a 10 km of the wind farm.

Cefn Croes Wind Farm in North Wales has 39 turbines. Funding from the wind farm is distributed by the Cefn Croes Wind Farm Community Trust to organisations and initiatives in the immediate neighbouring communities of Blaenrheidol and Pontarfynach. Organisations in the wider Ceridigion County Council area are also eligible to apply to the Trust.

In the Great Glen near Inverness, Millennium Wind Farm has 26 turbines. Funding from the wind farm is distributed by the Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston Community Company and the Glengarry Trust to organisations and initiatives in the local communities.

Near Strathaven in South Lanarkshire, Auchrobert Wind Farm has 12 wind turbines. Funding from the wind farm is shared between Blackwood and Kirkmuirhill Coordination Group, Boghead Community Group and Thornton Road Community Centre Association. A contribution is also paid to the South Lanarkshire Council Renewable Energy Fund.

Outside Girvan in South Ayrshire, Assel Valley Wind Farm has 10 turbines. Funding from the electricity generated by the wind farm is shared between the neighbouring communities of Barr, Girvan and District, and Pinmore and Pinwherry.

Just outside Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye, Ben Aketil Wind Farm has 12 wind turbines. Funding from the wind farm is distributed by the Dunvegan Community Trust to local groups and initiatives.

Boyndie Wind Farm near Banff in Aberdeenshire has 8 turbines. The funding from the wind farm is distributed to local groups by Whitehills and District Community Council.

Next door neighbour to Earlsburn Wind Farm outside Stirling, Kingsburn has 9 turbines. Funding from the wind farm is shared between the neighbouring communities of Carron Valley, Fintry, Cambusbarron, Gargunnock, Kippen and Denny and District.

Earlsburn Wind Farm is in the Campsie Hills outside Stirling and has 15 turbines. Funding from the wind farm is shared between the neighbouring communities of Carron Valley, Cambusbarron, and Denny and District.
